The Washington State Governor has extended the closure of Licensed Schools in Washington until May 4th, 2020. Oregon has made a similar ruling in an attempt to further limit exposure to the COVID virus. The Resuscitation Group, in concert with the American Heart Association, has extended certifications for 120 days. AHA certifications do not expire until July / August, offering ample time to recertify without having to take an initial course.
All the major healthcare organizations in the area have honored this ruling, as has the training centers.
